Figuring yourself out again, but this time as a new mom and partner, can be challenging, and feel like you are lost.

The thing I came to realize and embrace in my journey to self-love was the fact that I did not have to "learn" to love myself.

The truth is...

You were not born disliking yourself and wanting to change who you were to be liked or approved.

You were this confident little girl who did not even worry about what others thought because you saw with eyes of compassion and love.

Love and compassion for yourself and for the ones around you.

Somewhere along your life journey, something happened or someone said something that made you question your worth.

It made you believe that you were not pretty enough, small enough, or that you were simply "too much".

Then, without realizing it, you carried that with you into your relationships.

It shows up in ways like feeling like you are not enough for your partner, or finding it difficult to trust because you believe there is someone better for them out there.

This is why it's important to love yourself unconditionally first, and then you are better able to love others and come from a place of desire instead of need.

You have the power to change that narrative in your head.
To let go of the limiting beliefs that have been holding you back to this point.

You are so much more powerful than you think.

You are changing in many ways, and it's scary.

I know it seems easier to stay where you're comfortable because I have been there and fought to stay there.

But mama, you are meant for more.

You are meant to enjoy the journey and be happy.

To experience love and all the good things that your heart desires.

Becoming a mom does not mean that you no longer matter or should not come first.

Now more than ever do you come first.

You must be okay within, you need to have your needs met, you deserve to get what you want.

Because when you are well inside and out, you are a better you.

You are able to be present with your family, you are able to see with eyes of compassion, you are able to love deep because you are love.
